Remote server, unable to SSH anymore

Well I've got a GoDaddy.com Virtual Server and this is the first time I've used linux for more than 10 minutes. I had been trying to figure out how to get the FTP server working (since their FAQ's answer to it wasn't very good and even following it exactly didn't work), in the process I believe I managed to prevent myself from logging in by SSH, I assume by setting /etc/hosts.deny to ALL: ALL or something similar. So I can't get in to change the file back, all I have access to right now is plesk, and I don't think I can replace the file from there (it doesn't show up in the file manager and attempting to create a new blank file of the same name gives an error).

After I submitted a trouble ticket they emailed me back saying since it's outside of their normal support scope they'd have to charge me $50 to go in and change that one file's contents... and if I'm wrong I'm out $50 and still can't access the server.

Any ideas?

edit:

If you did edit the file to ALL:ALL your surely kicked yourself out of the server via SSH.
I think that if your take a look at this http://www.itc.virginia.edu/unixsys/sec/hosts.html you will find valuable help.
It seems to me that to put down the $50.00 is the only way out.

Hope this helps.
