I needed to open a webpage and go to a website that initiates a trigger, every 15 minutes or so. But I didn't want to have to go to the computer and manually do it, so I asked if anyone knew how to do it with a script and contab.

The trigger part I can't explain really, I didn't do the programing. They just asked me to do the automation part.

Maybe, but like I said I didn't do the programing for the webpage and database, so I don't really know. I was just asked to figure this process out )

Then like we said - lynx and crontab.

Use "-dump" or "-source" to check the result if you want.
