Red Hat Linux 7.2--audit.log not rotating

In Red Hat Linux 7.2, the audit.log is not rotating. I tried service auditd rotate and it did not work. Audit.log is too large now.

Any assistance to correct the rotation is very much appreciated.

you are aware that rh7.2 is very dead
Redhat stopped supporting it years ago
to quote the redhat notice

RH7.2 has been unsupported for 10 YEARS

you have a bigger issue than log rotation , as in missing the last 10 YEARS of security updates

as to that 13 year old ( well 10+ years anyway )Audit.log
delete it
reboot ( if this old server will reboot )
and read the new entries in the log

but you REALLY NEED to do a new install with the current RHEL 6.4
