Red Hat install problems

I am trying to install RedHat 9 on a HP Pavillion a620n PC. I tried a duel boot, single boot, different types of partitioning programs, reformatting, and I still get an error after instalation. I do a graphical installation, and it completes, but afterwords it does not boot at all, even with a boot disk. I get this screen: geocities.com/randyminish/errormessage.jpg Sorry to post it liek this, but I don't have five post and can;t post a url.

That's a nasty kernel panic. There's probably hardware incompatibilities. Try a more up to date version of Linux. I would suggest Ubuntu: http://www.ubuntulinux.org/
