recovering data from a software raid partition

hi everybody

i had a software raid that used level 1(mirror)
i used that because of security of some data
i mounted that in /criticalData
this software raid used /dev/sda3 and /dev/sdb2 for mirroring
one day one of disks (first one) failed
i booted up with an emergency boot cd
afterward i tried to mount /dev/sdb2 ,but it couldn't recognize format of the partition
i used software raid because of mirroring feather .
do u know how to recover this critical data from healthy disk ?
thanks in advance

Was your OS on /dev/sda? And was that not mirrored? What is the filesystem type of /dev/sdb2? Are you using LVM?

my OS was on /dev/sda
no i didnt mirror OS , i've just mirrored /dev/sda3 and /dev/sdb2 .
now i havent any OS (i lost sda)
i dont care about OS and disk 1 . the important thing is that i need to /criticalData .
why do u think i used mirroring ? just for this time that i lost one of my disks .
also my sdb2 is just used for mirroring (no LVM)
thank's for your time .
