questions about dsl


Is dsl better than voctorlinux on "weak" computers ?
It is possible to install openoffice 22 and gimp in dsl ?

The job GIMP does requires lots of computing power, running it on a box with weak CPU is not productive, most of the time you'll be waiting. A fair amount of RAM is required, too. OpenOffice is not a lightweight application either.
Running a lightweight Linux distro won't help a bit here.
