Question putty login problem.


Hi,
i am using ubuntu 14.04 and when i try to login via putty its shows nothing on putty prompt and after 10 sec gives connection time out error massage.so what should i do.
please help.

Which account are you logging in as? Do you have alternative methods to access the system?

It sounds like a timeout, so it's either an issue with the service or the traffic has been filtered/dropped on a firewall. Can you SSH locally back to the same machine?
