purpose of the declaration "FILELINE * entity_system" in the file docproc.c.


what is the purpose of the declaration "FILELINE * entity_system" in the file docproc.c? Can this line be safely removed from this file?

Impossible to say from what little information you have given.

But if it is in the code, it probably serves some purpose.
