Can anyone tell me of a good program to open zip files in linux.
I have search but couldn't find what I was looking for.

what distro are you using, 'cos you should at least have Ark installed. if not, you can try unzip from the command line.

Just double click it in konqueror (if you use kde) or nautilus (in gnome). E
Should work!

You can use unzip, funzip, zip, zipcloak, zipgrep, zipinfo, zip-note, and zipsplit to manipilate zip files on Linux. Most distributions include the utilities (so check your distribution first), or you can find them here.

you can always do unzip from the CLI. You have the ability to deal with .zip if you have infozip installed.
