Problems with Wine!! think its something with my graphic card
Hi. I'm running ubuntu 7.10, Gutsy Gibbon.
I've installed wine and it worked very well under installation process of Diablo II but when i tried to start diablo II (game) it said:
Diablo II Server Exception
UNHANDLED EXCEPTION:
ACCESS_VIOLATION (c0000005)
Does any one know this problem or know how to fix it??
Wine is a work in progress. Sometimes you need to try different settings to make a program function correctly. Sometimes it is not possible to get a program to function at all.
You can consult the wine application database to see if other users have had success with a particular program. In the case of the program you mentioned, it looks like it should be possible to get it working. The poster says something about a "glide wrapper", but I do not know what that is.
