Problems with mysqld


I'm using RHEL 3.0 and I've Apache 2.0 and mysql 3.3 installed.But i donot know how to start the mysql server.Though i've installed mysql, my system says that there is no file called mysqld.How do i get mysqld running and how to configure apache??

I guess you can try:
service mysqld start
