Problems Starting Xserver

Hi Guys..

I installed RH 9.0 and got the usual desktop. but ven I changed my settings of the video memory from 16 MB to 32 MBfrom the diplay panel and rebooted the machine the Xserver could not be started and it gave the error saying no devoce found.

I changed the settings by editing /etc/X11/XFree86 and changing the video memory back to 16 MB but again no success.

Is there any way I can sort it out without having to reinstall Linux.

TIA

Yes, there is.

However, without you posting the requested part of your XF86Config file, there's very little that anyone here can do. Once we've seen what the file's like, we can let you know what's wrong with it.
