problem with putty
i got some problem using my putty. this problem never happen before. when i open my putty and start doing something. after a few sec or min my putty hang. then pop up this message."Network error:Software cause connection abort". is my internet connection involve?

Your having a problem with PuTTY for Windows? If so, maybe you need to download the current version to see if that helps. Also, check your computer for malware, Malwarebytes is a good free tool. |

I was having that same problem a few years ago. Pretty sure it was related to my ISPs router. I tried and tried to find a fix but never could. Then when I changed ISPs(for reasons other than this) The issue went away. Who is your ISP and what make/model router do you have? Do a google search or find a messageboard for that ISP/modem and see if anyone has more info.

So your telnetting to a host?
You could try windows telnet to the host (Open a command box and type telnet then your target ip address).
This should isolate the problem to either PuTTy or the network.
