Red face Problem with amarok


I am using mandriva spring.. i tried to update amarok player. after update i am unable to use it,, i tried to install old amarok from my installation dvd.. i am not able to install it.. How i can get amarok..

Maybe if you posted some actual error messages, and gave some useful information, we could help you. Saying "i am unable to use it", doesn't give us alot to work with.

Tell us what you tried, what hardware you're using it on, and what symptoms/errors you're getting. Can you play ANY audio? Do your system sounds work? Hardware changed? What have you done/tried, exactly???

To install the older 'amarok' , first remove the new one.

Three methods :
Use the package manager 'rpmdrake'
or
# urpme amarok

or
# rpm -e amarok
.....
