Red face Problem while making .trb file from C source file

I am new one over here and don't know that this question is related or not to these forums. Can anybody help.

I am trying to compile C source file to generate .trb file (turbo file) which will then burn on trubo sim using TP2. When I comiple the code following error is occuring.

before going through belwo error I was getting error 'Unknown MCU atmega128', known MCU are: (list appread), then I change the configuration and set the MCU to supported list then following error is occuring.

XXXXXXX@MYN8G5R52S /home/my-aip/my-aip
$ make
avr-ld -o my-aip.elf my-aip.o -L../../turbo-devel/lib -T -d -r --emit-
relocs -R ../../turbo-devel/lib/public_calls -lformlib -laes -lm -lc `avr-gcc -p
C:\installs\AvrGcc\bin\avr-ld.exe: cannot open C:\installs\AvrGcc\bin\..\lib\gcc
: Invalid argumentcc.a
make: *** [my-aip.elf] Error 1

Now strange thing is that whats so ever the value is of atmegs.. is I am facing same issue.

Can you guys please help me. I am in very much tense bcz from yesterday I am working on this and nothing happened.

Thanks in advance.

I think you'd better ask for moderator to move your thread in programming or hardware/embedded section.

Looks like you're under linux (any other UNIX at least)? so
C:\installs\AvrGcc\bin\avr-ld.exe: cannot open C:\installs\AvrGcc\bin\..\lib\gcc
this line is quite strange, you're calling the Windows avr linker version.
I think you just have to fix your Makefile, search for a line which looks like "LD=C:\installs\AvrGcc\bin\avr-ld.exe"
