Problem using the Find Command

Greetings, I running Debian linux and when I make change to the Network and press "apply' a box pops up asking me for the password to WALLET. Problem is that I can't remember or ever did gave or apply a password for Wallet.

I would like to find 'kdewallet.kwl' as I'm running the KDE UI.

I have tried a number of ways to use the find command to search for this file but haven't hand any luck.

Can help me with using the proper find syntax for doing this search.

Tried reading the find command syntax and got lost in all the options, etc.

Thanks

Try using the password for the user you are logged in as.
As for the find command, the following should work:

find / -name "kdewallet.kwl"

On my system, the file is located in: /home/suramya/.local/share/kwalletd/kdewallet.kwl (replace suramya with your username)

hello @swamprat

After you have done the above and sorted things out, and if you don't want KDE Wallet goto Setting > KDE Wallet > Uncheck that box for KDE Wallet.

Regards
