If FC doesn't auto-detect the scsi card you will need to specify scsi(??) or a specific driver for the scsi card.
Some distros allowed you to specify the driver to load or specify the command to prompt for a driver disk (floppy??): linux dd
Your driver maybe the Adaptec I20 raid driver(??).
