Problem installing Dante Socks server on BT4

Hello linuxquestions users,
I'm going to make this as easy as possible for everyone to understand my thoughts.

I am trying to install dante socks server on bt4. I'm using the root account incase someone asks.

Information on what i have and want:

Code:
root@bt:/# uname -a
Linux bt 2.6.30.9 #1 SMP Tue Dec 1 21:51:08 EST 2009 i686 GNU/Linux
Code:
root@bt:/# apt-cache show dante-server

Description: SOCKS (v4 and v5) proxy daemon (danted)
Dante is a circuit-level firewall/proxy that can be used to provide
convenient and secure network connectivity to a wide range of hosts
while requiring only the server Dante runs on to have external network
 connectivity.
 .
This package contains the socks proxy daemon (danted). The server part
of Dante allows socks clients to connect through it to the network.

root@bt:/#

This is the error i get:

Code:
root@bt:/# apt-get install dante-server
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
You might want to run `apt-get -f install' to correct these:
The following packages have unmet dependencies:
linux-image: Depends: linux-image-2.6.34 but it is not going to be installed
E: Unmet dependencies. Try 'apt-get -f install' with no packages (or specify a solution).
root@bt:/#

Apparently it says i need 2.6.34 kernel to run this application so here it was i did, update the kernel:

Code:
root@bt:/# apt-get -f upgrade
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
Correcting dependencies... Done
The following NEW packages will be installed:
  linux-image-2.6.34
0 upgraded, 1 newly installed, 0 to remove and 0 not upgraded.
135 not fully installed or removed.
Need to get 0B/16.8MB of archives.
After this operation, 55.3MB of additional disk space will be used.
Do you want to continue [Y/n]? y

root@bt:/#

So i always get this error:

Errors were encountered while processing:
/var/cache/apt/archives/linux-image-2.6.34_2.6.34-10.00.Custom-bt8_i386.deb
E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)

So what do you guys think i should do? Apart from searching on google wich i already did, but then again i'm no linux expert so i'm not sure what to look for.
