if i use gcc++-4.1, i must change cc = @cc@ to gcc-4.1 in ns2.34/otcl/makefile.in,right?

how about the other routing protocol in ns2.34 that use gcc++-4.3?

i cant attach so i use this link

Noting related to ns2 is "using gcc++-4.3".
{gcc-4.3 / g++-4.3} was OK for building ns-2.3x until about April? 2011.
Then the OS was updated, and you had to use "4.1" : Old story.
* Warning : Do not rely on old instructions → →
→ They were valid only the day the were written : Things change.

! No routing protocol is using gcc !
* A tcl routing protocol uses an interpreter : The executable 'ns'.

* How to use a compiler :
cd ns-allinone-2.34/ && export CC=gcc-4.1 CXX=g++-4.1 && ./install

! Do not edit any files, when using gcc-4.1 / g++-4.1

cant read ragent_ variable

hello everyone.

please reply to my previous post regarding error as can't read ragent_ while executing dsr as routing protocol on wired-cum-wireless tcl script. i had attached it with my previous post.

DSR protocol running well with only wireless scenario but it shows above error for wired-cum-wireless topology

urgently need ur help.
