Problem in configuration of php and apache

How to configure php5, apache, and postgre in Ubuntu? and where can i find the equivalent of php.exe(windows) in linux?

Did you check Might be of help.

To find PHP on your system, first run updatedb (probably with root privileges); this will update a database on your system. Next run locate php. If php is installed, it will give all (kind of) files related to PHP.

sir i found the php folders at /usr/share/doc/php5 (files inside are .qz files and other folders and files) and /usr/share/doc (file inside is php.ini-dist only).
