Print Test Page Problem

I use slackware 10.1 I have installed my printer and this is what I have:

I have run this for the printer to start at system start up:

Code:
# /etc/rc.d/rc.cups start
To install it:

Code:
/usr/sbin/lpadmin -p HpPrinter -m foomatic-ppds/HP/HP-LaserJet_4100-hpijs.ppd.gz -v socket://192.9.201.35:9100 -E
To list the available printers on a system using cups,

Code:
$ /usr/bin/lpstat -v
And the output of this is:

Code:
device for HpPrinter: socket://192.9.201.35:9100
And when I check of the statue this what i get:

Code:
root@Admin:/home/moderator# /usr/sbin/lpc status HpPrinter
HpPrinter:
printer is on device 'socket' speed -1
        queuing is enabled
        printing is enabled
        no entries
        daemon present
And thats what I get when I try to print a test page:
Code:
root@Admin:/home/moderator# /usr/bin/lpr -p HpPrinter /usr/share/cups/data/testprint.ps
lpr: error - unable to access "HpPrinter" - No such file or directory
Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks.

I'm confused by the IP of the printer - 192.9? You have private IP space and are using it for a printer? Or maybe you have everything behind a router doing NAT - but then wouldn't you use friendly addresses like 1.1.1.X? Sorry that may have nothing to do with your problem, but it could be a simple connectivity issue - if you box is 192.168.X,X, and you try using that IP for the printer, you should get errors if/when that connection fails.

Peace,
JimBass
