pricing a modem

Hey Guys, since i have a WinModem in my laptop, i cannot figure out how to install a modem drive. Well i figured i'd just buy an external modem. So i figured i'd ask some of you experts what is a cheap external laptop modem i can buy which will work with RH9? Thanks!!

Look what comes up first with a search on Price watch using the search term linux modem!

If you got an extra serial port handy, I really prefer an external serial port modem. I get better connects and speeds with my externals. Plus, I don't know of anything they don't work with that has a serial port.

i got a external us robotics it is so old but mandy says it is a winmodem.
