[SOLVED] PPPoE is up but cannot connect to the internet

Dear all,
I have trouble connecting to internet when connecting using pppoe-start, even though it says it's connected and the pppoe interface is there. I test the connection by sending a ping to a known IP address and got "destination unreachable".

What things that I miss? Any ideas?

Is your ISP assinging you an address from DHCP pool? if so what is the address? maybe get a friend or someone to try to ping you at that IP if ICMP isnt being blocked...also check with your IP see if they see any failures or "PORT ERRORS" on the radius server.

hmm, thanks for the advice, turns out that when I set DNS address server to "server", it doesn't work. I must specify it explicitly.
