power down


I have red hat 9
for some reason when ever i shut down it wont shut down all the way.
it'll stop at "power down" and it'll jus stay like that until i manually shut down or hit ctrl alt del.

can anyone help?

hmm... are you waiting for your CPU to shutdown and turn off automatically when you shutdown Red Hat?
