Please help! I have searched, dealing with WineX


WineX to run half lfie ounter strike.

Well after installation, updating, and what not I goto winex hl.exe -- hl.exe -- console and when it start it shows up, everything is unreadable, and nothing you can recgnize it is all distorted and you cant exit it. I exited by esc, and then enter. Anyone have any ideas?

Red Hat 8.0 all drivers are current.
Ati radeon 9000 pro
amd athlon 800mghz

Yeah I been there, it doesn't help. I did what it says....
btw thats for wine, not winex

Have you tried changing you video resolution (in linux not in game) to 15 bits? Have you also tried increasing the video resolution (again in linux)? Most the time when I have game problems its the resolution I am at and not the game.
