personal favorite Linux guides

I was wondering if all you guys out there had a personal favorite Linux guide out there that you used to learn Linux. I think it would be nice if everyone posted their favorite Linux guide.

Difficult one - especially as most written documentation is garbage, written by geeks for geeks.

Anyone not familiar with "their" terminology is very much screwed.

This applies to "dummy's guides" O'really publications. I have yet to be able to see what the stuff from "Sams" is like - no decent techincal book shop around here.

As for howto's and manpages - print 'em off and file them under "S" for shredder.

regards

John
