perl

Hi all,

I have installed perl package using synaptic packet manager. It also shows that the package has been installed. But i am unable to see the perl in applications or in desktop.

I need that if we install netbeans means we can see that in applications->programming.

Like that how can we see perl

Perl is not a GUI application. Is a programming language.

Also required : sudo apt-get install libperl-dev
