peanut linux problems


i installed peanut linux which was easy and great
everything is fast enough and i was happy to use it
i am a
there came a problem when i tried to compile amsn it needed wish command
so i searched and found that i need tcl interpreter
then i downloaded that and tried to install . but it needed gcc / cc
then i downloaded that gcc lol it needed another compiler .. please some one help me

how to install these compilers and other related stuff.. it seems the peanut linx support rpm.. i tried to install tcl in rpm but that needed some more dependices

do i have any way?
the peanut site tells that it have the gcc compiler support but my system shows it doesnt have them when i try to compile the amsn and other some softwares

Although Linux distributions will generally support and have available development tools, they are not always installed by default. It you installed the Peanut download version you simply need to install anything you need from the Peanut download site.
Whichever version of gcc in the Peanut RPMS you want to install, the selection of files in the gcc/related folder and the glibc folder (including the dev version) would be a good place to start.
To use the 2.95 gcc and 2.2.5 glibc just choose the files from the regular list. To use the 3.3 gcc and 2.3.2 glibc choose the files from the special folders.
