PDF document printing..choose printer

In Adobe reader I am trying to print document to my printers. I have 2 printers installed, one local and one network. When I click file>print>... I get the print screen, gives me 2 options: print to usr/bin/lp or to file.

Now how do i tell which printer to print to. I want to be able to choose from printers I have installed on this machine.

The other apps. e.g. OOO allow me to choose printer, but Adobe acrobat only issues /usr/bin/lp command

Thanks,
SL

donīt know and just looked at adobe....

if you have kghostview you can use cups printer which is a bit easier. I am running KDE so its easy to just right hand click the pdf file and choose open with options to select kghostview or open to office then publishing to find another pdf viewer if you do not have kghostview

Use lp's "-d destination" option, replacing "destination" with the name of your printer.
I think you can use options when printing in Acrobat.
Similarly, other lp options, like -n number to print a certain number of copies, can be
useful.
See:
man lp
