[SOLVED] Partition on direct attached storage disappears

Good day,

I am running Debian Wheezy with a direct attached storage (HP D2700). I already created a new partition on the D2700 via fdisk and have mounted it on /var/lib/pgsql. It is visible via df -hT but it disappears whenever I reboot the machine. Is this normal? If not, how do I rememdy this so that it does not disappear every time the server is rebooted.

If you want it mounted at boot you need an appropriate entry in the /etc/fstab file with the correct device or UUID, filesystem and other parameters.

I see. I was heading in that direction but wasnt 100% sure about it. Will check the fstab. Thanks yancek!
