First, as grail asked, you need to tell us the EXACT command you ran. Second, you need to tell us WHY you ran that command, and WHAT is giving you that error.
Could I back up grail in asking you how you solved the problem?
On many an occasion, I have read through a long thread on the web trying to find a solution to a problem, only for the last post to say "problem solved" and nothing else.
This forum, and many others, aren't purely about the solving of problems, but about the exchange of information, ideas and techniques.
Judging from the command that was used, it appears that the OP was zeroing-out all or part of the contents of a drive, and that the command as-issued probably had the effect of wiping out the partition table on that drive.
