parted boot floppy


hi im trying to get parted to work off my floppy... however, the img file is 3+mb... doesnt fit into a single floppy... dd just returns: 'not enought disk space'... actually, the issue is addressed here: http://www.redhat.com/archives/fedor.../msg02491.html but doesnt state whether it works or how to fit the img file into 3 disk floppies... btw i dont have use of a cd drive... any help would be appreciated thx =)

also, when i boot off a linux boot floppy and asks me to insert root disks, nothing happens when i press 'enter'...
