Oracle 10g installation on OEL 4.5

Hai to all;

While installing oracle on enterprise linux , system was down at that time OUI was running.
Now i cant run OUI as well as cant enter as oracle user. if i execute
root@dhcppc1 ~]# su - oracle
-bash: racle: command not found
-bash: ulimit: open files: cannot modify limit: Operation not permitted
-bash-3.00$
-bash-3.00$
-bash-3.00$
-bash-3.00$
-bash-3.00$
-bash-3.00$
-bash-3.00$

how can i start OUI again

As this is happening , you may have some wrong entry in the

Quote:

/oracle/.bash_profile

or

Quote:

/oracle/.bashrc

file which throws error.

YOu are already logged in as oracle user. Now to get the OUI from there as an Oracle root user(sysdba) run

Quote:

sqlplus "/as sysdba"

And as your previous post,if you have configured all the prerequisites correctly it will work.
