Angry Oracle 10g

Hello,
Can some one help me to find out if Oracle 10.2.0.3 is certified to run on RedHat 5.1 Or REHL 5 ES (standard) and if it is then where can I find installation information. I could only get for RHEL4, RHEL3 and SUSE but not for 5.1

This is my first time with Linux Red Hat and Oracle 10g.

Any help would be really appreciated
Thanks,
Shirish

Most likely the version you had then isn't supported. Usually Oracle during installation checks the redhat-release file for the version. You may be able to fool it but I wouldn't recommend running a product that they don't yet support. I'm also assuming if you have Oracle 10g, you also have some type of support with Oracle. I'd suggest sending them a note if they support Redhat 5.

Thanks for your reply. I also found out that RHEL 5.1 is a beta version and Oracle 10g is not certified yet.
