hai i am new to linux,
i want to setup openvpn with preshared key. i want to make my linux system as openvpn server and windows machine as client. both the systems are same LAN. i am using centos 5.3 and windows xp. can u tell me the steps to create a vpn between these two using psk. advance thanks....
... if they're on the same lan why do you want an openvpn connection between them? I don't think openvpn does what you expect...
actually this is a testing.. i know openvpn is used to establish secure channel over internet. for that i do these 1. installed openvpn package.
Now i want to communicate with a windows client. I think openvpn can be used to communicate between computers in a LAN also.pls help me........
Yes, but if you're on the same lan... just connect via rdp or vnc. A vpn is pointless on a lan since the point of a vpn is to connect disconnected remote lans over a wan.
