OpenSUSE 10.3 and PRO/Wireless 220BG in Dell Inspiron 9100.

New to Linux..
Installed openSUSE 10.3.Very smooth and trouble-free installation. Everything works fine with no problem. Wired internet worked right away.
PC is Dell Inspiron 9100 with Intel PRO/Wireless 2200BG. No problem when running Windows XP. But now I am in Linux and want to stay with Linux.

Wireless card is detected and it also detects all networks around. When trying to connect wirelessly to my network, keeps asking the passphrase over and over again. It seems it does not recognize the passphrase that it was entered during installation.
I also tried to enter the HEX WEP code but it refuses to accept HEX key.

This might be a very elementary question for you guys, but I am really interested in learning linux and would appreciate any help on where to start troubleshooting the wireless card connection.
Thanks in advance.
LAM

you will have to start reading up on WPA_suppliant. I had the same issues.

The mac address seems to be not locked on the the AP.

Thanks for answering. Where do you suggest to start reading about this? I am new and need to understand first what is this WPA_suppliant.
Let me know if you have any suggestions to start with.
Luis.
