Arrow OpenLdap authentication

Hi All,
I m not sure whether it is the correct location for this forum, but i need an advise and configuration setup for openldap authentication. The scenario is like this :

I have configured openldap server and it is working fine, I am able to authenticate password of users from other boxes on this openldap server.

Now the question is : To authenticate any user/s from the openldap first I need to add the user/s on the local/different box/boxes everytime off course user/s exists in ldap directory. But I dont want to add the users everytime on different machines.I want something like having server which will contain all users and those different machines will authenticate from that machine for users and for password it will authenticate from ldap directory ?

In simple terms : centralized system for user authentication using (Openldap)

Or if u know any other setup please let me know with configuration.

Please Advise.

Check out the /etc/nsswitch.conf depens on your distribution.
You'll have to configure it there.
And you should take a look at the pam authentification modules.

That will do the job, and of course each client system needs the ldap client as well ;-)
