Thumbs up Open Source Calendar Server

Hi All,

I am in great trouble..dont know how to get it done... i think my concepts are not clear..if any one could clear my concepts....

I have following setup

1.Mailserver hosted with godaddy:and i have all pop ids(no impa)
2.Thunderbird Client for both linux and windows systems.
3.Web calendar server (php based)(http://www.k5n.us/webcalendar.php)

If i use only Web calendar for all the clients,it works fine all users can add view and see free/busy schedules of each other.

But when i integrate the same web calendar with thunderbird using lightning plugin i can create and view the events but not able to see free busy schedule.

Now i want to know how calendaring system works...how is calendar shared to all and how free/busy publshing works. In short how the whole calendaring system works?

Can any one suggest, egroupware open source for retriving pop mail ids ..i.e single collaborative suite which can manage my pop.mycompany.com hosted outside the company.

Hope i was able to represent my problem properly.

Regards,

Prayag
