Open Large File


I have a file that is 2GB in size. I need to open this and change the possibly remove a line and or add text to it how could this be done?

for example if the file was of this structure



.....
.....
.....
.....
Total Records 10000


and i wanted to change it to

.....
.....
.....
.....
Total Records 10010



how would i do this from command line?
