Lightbulb OKAY I'm starting to see the light with Linux

I had to upgrade after a storm fried my motherboard. I now have a 2500+ barton and an Asus motherboard. I put the old harddrive in my new machine with XP on it and after 2 hours of messing around and re activating over the phone I'm still getting the BSOD with page fault errors. About every other boot it crashes.
I put my Linux hard drive in and it booted just fine with no problems. Going from a Asus P5A with a AMD K6-2 450 to
an Asus MB with a AMD 2500+ Barton was no problem for Linux. Windoze XP is going to force me to do a fresh install whether I like it or not.

Linux is picking up speed at my house ... K

I found that out with Windows98SE when my mobo blew. I had been running Linux for a couple of months after a thunderstorm. A fan got noisy and I decided to replace it. Re-boot and I find the mobo crapped out. When I got Linux supported real hardware to replace all the integrated crap and winstuff and mobo, Windows went insane. Redhat 7.3's kudzu just reconfigured it for me and I was off and running.

It usually takes a clean re-install to get Windows to work with new hardware.

Windows rules, doesn't it?
