Hi:
I learn shells can be interactive or non-interactive, login or non-login. So, there are four classes in all. A (bash) shell script usually begins with
#!/bin/bash.
Question: this instance of bash that runs the script, is a non-interactive shell, am I right?
EDIT: Sorry. I found this:
Code:
Invoked non-interactively
.........................
When Bash is started non-interactively, to run a shell script, for
example, ...
--Bash info pages, 6. Bash features, Bash startup files.
So, my question has been answered!
