Question Nvidia Driver Read-Only problems

I just installed Mandrake 9.1 and installed new Nvidia drivers for my GeForce 2 card. When I am done editing the XF86Config-4 file, i hold shift and hit zz to save the changes that i've made, but i get an error message saying that "the file is read-only and i have to add "!" to override" I am editing the file as root and i don't know how to add "!". Any help would be appreciated.

sounds like the file is marked read-only.

I am assuming that you are using VIM.
You can write the file and quit by typing in:

:wq!
