Noob Qns: Run Levels? (VMWare + Mandrake)

Hi

I'm a noob at linux havent had a successful installation since.

I was installing mandrake 10 when i was stuck in a screen configuring the X window thingy (video card, soudncard, the hardware configurations, etc...), not really stuck, cursor was still moving, but i had no more buttons to click to proceed.

Since Installation was completed according to the left pane, So i switched off and started booting up again... Then i met up with the (screenshot) Runlevel thingy. It didn't manage to startup after randomly inputting 1,2,3,4,5...

What do i do now?

The lack of an inittab file means that the installation definitely did not succeed. I suggest you seek help with the installation problem: create a new post in the Mandrake forum with specific details on what happens when you try to install.
