no pkgtool installed in slack how to install

Apparently, I failed to install pkgtool on my slack netbook and I don't know how to install it. The ultimate goal is to install Virtualbox. I'm not finding it in the slackbook. Any help?

Very easy : Unpack e.g. pkgtools-13.37-noarch-9.tgz from cd1 or DVD slackware/a
or ftp://ftp.slackware.org.uk/slackware...7-noarch-9.tgz

And use the script /sbin/installpkg : # sh installpkg pkgtools-13.37-noarch-9.tgz

But : Are you quite sure it isn't already installed ?
The pkgtools commands can be run as root only.
