NFS Server - Xandros

Hi,
I have just installed the debian based Xandros OS on two of my comps. I want to access the files of both from one of the comps. I started by changing the /etc/exports file... and then the /etc/hosts.allow and /etc/hosts.deny . But when i do rpcinfo -p i dont see all the deamons like mountd etc. i just see portmapper and status. Further when I try to mount it on the other comp by

Zeon:/home/suar# mount 192.168.0.5:/home/prasan /mnt/nfs

I get

mount: RPC: Program not registered

Can anyone help me with the most effiecient way to get around this

Did you start up mountd etc? There should be an init script in /etc/init.d that starts up the NFS services. They are probably not started by default.
