Thumbs up Newbie needs help with Ubuntut

I just got a tablet that dual-boots to Android 2.2 and Ubuntu. I've got the Android down pretty well, but Ubuntu is still a foreign language. I'm looking forward to learning. I'm retired and disabled, so I have plenty of time.

That is just one link. Search around online for linux beginner's guides and such, they are everywhere. Good luck!

Hi Petkei and welcome to Linux Questions. I'm not sure how good Ubuntu is with touch screens, maybe someone else can comment, but do I deduce your tablet has USB ports so you can attach keyboard and mouse? I know someone who's done this with Android 2.1 and don't see why it wouldn't work with an Ubuntu loaded tablet.

Just curious...

Play Bonny!
