I have a box set with feodora 2. Its set so I can telnet into it locally, host websites, etc.

It was working fine.. Its been working fine... Something happened

I cant ping it anymore from my windows/osx boxes, I CAN ping the windows box/osx box from the linux box though...

I rebooted the server, I double checked the services... No go.. It almost seems like a firewall was turned on..

When I ping it from terminal in OSX - I get an ping:Sendto Host is Down message...

I checked the IP's, nothing has changed...

the firewall IS on, but it makes no different on or off

Any ideas?

IS it just the ping, or are other netowrking routes also off? i.e. can you connect to the apache running on your fedora box?

Whats the network gear between the machines? Are you attempting to ping / access thru WAN ip:s or LAN ip:s?
