Need help with file navigation and searching for a file

Hello-
I have installed software and need to find one of the libraries that came with it. In windows, I would do a file->search and it would come up with the path.

I am told that
%arduino_install_path%/hardware/cores/arduino/wiring_analog.c
is the path, but how do I get there?

Can someone give me the basics of file navigation and file finding?

OK- I've found the file->search utility, but would love to know how to navigate around ie: see all of the files
Thank you,
Nora

If wiring_analog.c the file is you are looking for:

Code:
sudo find / -name wiring_analog.c
