Need help on cluster fencing

Greetings guys,

I am a newbie setting up a rhel 6.4 cluster on a vmware workstation in my dell laptop to install DB2 database on it. I need to set up a fencing method, actually I don't have any documents in setting up this. I am reading through the Redhat 6 cluster administration guide and in process of setting up this cluster. I am not able to understand how to set up a fence now. Should I use the "fence_vmware_soap" or something else. Please provide me the appropriate fencing method to use and how to configure them.

Is fencing necessary for rhel cluster ??

How to configure the quorum disk ??

...where you asked about clustering and were directed to at least two tutorials and guides, which cover how to set up fencing and fencing devices. If you read the Red Hat guide you were pointed to before, it has steps on how to do this. Again, if you're using RHEL, you should be paying for it, and contacting their support for help.
