need a script

I need a script to remove spaces and capital letters using the find cmd. I've found other scripts that do this but only for files in one directory. Thats why I want to use find to do it with but I dont know the syntex. The man pages are bad about examples noobs can understand

Did you even look at the find man page? It seems pretty straight forward to me.

I'd suggest using one of the scripts you found and edit it to make it do what you would like.

The first argument to 'find' is always the directory to start recursively searching from. For example:

$ find ~ -name *.c

Will find and print all c source files in your home directory.
You will want to have a look at the -exec option to do your file renaming, which I presume you will copy from the script you already have....

You can also pipe the results of find to xargs...(man xargs)
